Rossdafareye and Colby & Co Creations have a growing passion for cleaner lands, healthier living, community, and inclusiveness. We believe in connecting communities and coming together to serve and preserve our public lands in an effort to keep this region beautiful, which is why we have partnered together and are proud to present to you the Grassroots Garbage Get Down. A community service project Saturday, August 19th, 2023 to clean up public lands area on Douglas Lake - Sevierville, TN. The mission is simple - help clean up and beautify public land and water areas in our region and draw awareness to the issues with pollution. Volunteers will help in the effort to clear trash and debris from the TVA Public Lands areas.

Grassroots Garbage Get Down

Join us for the Grassroots Garbage Get Down on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 8:00 AM (Eastern Daylight Time). This exciting project aims to tackle the issue of garbage in our community spaces. Together, we can make a difference!

Location: 1781 Allensville Road, Sevierville, TN 37876

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty as we come together to clean up our beautiful lake areas. This event is all about taking action and making a positive impact on the environment.

Whether you're an environmental enthusiast or just looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your Saturday morning, this event is for you! We welcome everyone, from families to individuals, to join us in this important cause.

Together, we'll clean up public trail spaces and camp sites, creating a cleaner and healthier environment for all.

Volunteers may choose to participate using their own kayaks, SUP, or personal watercraft while others traverse the area by foot. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be available. We recommend/encourage bringing your own gloves and/or trash grabber. Please wear protective/appropriate footwear and practice safe glass handling with appropriate glove wear. You are responsible for your own safety.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, make a difference, and have a great time doing it! Mark your calendars for the Grassroots Garbage Get Down and let's work together to keep our community clean!

"Tennessee is known for its extraordinary beauty from the mighty Mississippi to the Great Smoky Mountains. Our rich forests, farms, and wetlands are not only our home but also home to a vast diversity of fish and wildlife. Tennessee is experiencing extreme human development pressure, and every missed opportunity to protect our unique lands is an irreversible loss to our future. We must act swiftly and smartly to protect the places that provide us all well-being and an unrivaled quality of life." - TENNGreen Land Conservancy.

We have selected TENNGreen Land Conservancy as our beneficiary for this project. If you are able and willing, please help us support their efforts to protect, care for, and connect people with Tennessee’s natural world by providing meaningful outdoor experiences, establishing conservation easements, supporting restoration efforts, and acquiring (or assisting in the acquisition of) privately-held land by donating what you can. Thank you for your support.
